Staying on site for a wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm
Both cabins stand on the grounds of Inkersall Grange Farm, a tipi wedding venue with three reception tipis, a licensed ceremony barn and an on-site bar, seating up to 150 guests. That means no drive home, no taxi booked for midnight in rural Nottinghamshire, and a slow start the next morning.
Between them the cabins sleep 6. The venue seats up to 150, so this is accommodation for the couple or the people closest to them — not for the whole party. Inkersall Grange Farm is operated by Wonderland Wedding Venues, a separate business; wedding enquiries go to them.
The two cabins
Questions guests ask
How close are the cabins to the wedding venue?
Both cabins stand on the grounds of Inkersall Grange Farm, so there is no drive and no taxi at the end of the night — the walk back is a few minutes across the farm.
How many people can stay?
6 in total. Wrangler's Den sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms, 3 beds), and Shepherd's Hut sleeps 2 (1 bedroom, 1 bed). The venue seats up to 150, so the cabins suit the couple or the few people closest to them rather than the whole party.
Can both cabins be booked together?
One person can book both, but they are booked separately — two bookings, not one reservation covering both. The two cabins are a one-minute walk apart.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out cannot be guaranteed and must be arranged in advance — worth doing early if the wedding day is tight.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking at both cabins.
What does it cost, and is there a minimum stay?
Wrangler's Den from £185 a night, Shepherd's Hut from £140 a night. There is a 2-night minimum at both, and cleaning is included.
How do guests book?
Directly through this site — there are no platform fees. Wedding dates are often claimed early, frequently by the couple's own family, so it is worth checking availability before invitations go out.
What is there to do the morning after?
You can walk into woodland from the site in about 5 minutes without driving anywhere. Sherwood Pines and Sherwood Forest are a short drive, and The Lion, Farnsfield is 3.9 miles away, about 8 minutes.
Does Inkersall Cabins run the weddings?
No. Inkersall Grange Farm is operated by Wonderland Wedding Venues and is a separate business. Inkersall Cabins provides accommodation on the same farm; wedding enquiries go to the venue.
