Reviews Policy

1. Where our reviews come from

After a stay booked directly with us, we email the guest to ask how it went. Their answers come to us, and they can write a review for our Reviews page.

The reviews on our site from before November 2026 were left on Airbnb by guests who stayed with us, and we copied them here.

2. Only guests who stayed

Each feedback link we email belongs to one stay. A guest without the link finds their stay with their booking reference and the email address they booked with, or asks us to email them a link. Feedback can be left once per stay, after check-out and for up to 90 days, and not for a cancelled booking.

3. What we publish, and when

• We publish the reviews guests write for our website, with the name they chose and their star rating, unless they ask us to keep them private.
• Answers to our other questions stay private.
• Reviews usually appear on our site a few days after they are left.
• We may shorten a review, but we keep what the guest meant.
• We don't pay or reward anyone for a review.

4. The only reasons we hold back a review

We don't publish a review, or we take it down, only if:

• it contains abusive or discriminatory language;
• it contains someone else's personal details;
• it isn't about the stay;
• it is advertising or spam;
• it states something as fact that isn't true (an opinion is never a reason);
• it is unlawful; or
• the guest who wrote it asks us to remove it.

A review is never held back for being negative. We record the reason each time we hold one back.

5. Our rating

The rating we show is the average star rating of every review on our Reviews page. Airbnb's own figure also counts ratings left without a review, so it can differ from ours.

6. Questions and removal
